Unknown thieves stole about 130 Christmas trees for sale in the city of Cottbus in eastern Germany, police said on Monday. Staff noticed the missing trees on Monday morning and concluded that they had been stolen from the site at the end of last week, according to a statement. Police said the value of the stolen trees is believed to be 4,000 euros ($4,600). Cottbus is located southeast of the capital, Berlin.
